Oil and Gas Applications

Aeroderivative Gas Turbines

Aeroderivative gas turbines are used in the oil and gas industry for their high efficiency, low emissions, and flexibility to power, compress, cool and transport oil and gas resources.

These gas turbines respond to load changes very quickly, which makes them ideal for peaking service. However, they also can overspeed quickly, causing expensive turbine damage and unplanned downtime. OEMs select our control systems for speed of response to avoid turbine damage caused by a stall or surge condition.

Heavy-Duty Gas Turbines

Heavy-duty gas turbines provide reliable and efficient power for a wide range of oil and gas applications. They power compressors, pumps and generators to extract, transport, and refine oil and gas. Steam Turbines

The oil and gas industry relies heavily on steam turbines to drive processes within refineries and petrochemical production. These turbines use steam generated from the burning of natural gas, low carbon fuels to drive generators, compressors, pumps and other equipment. Steam turbines are also used to regulate steam header pressure for downstream processes.

Reciprocating Engines
